Congratulations on securing your place on our APEC Advanced programme!
Please see below for important information regarding your next steps to enrol fully on the programme.
APEC Advanced programme is our flagship course for experienced equestrian coaches - and we have now had over 200 coaches complete the programme since January 2018. You have booked a place on the programme running from Monday 6th - Wednesday 8th October 2025. This will be at Bailbrook House Hotel, Bath, BA1 7JD. Your accommodation at the hotel is included in the course fees, however if you are local to the area and do not wish to stay, please let us know ASAP.
Apologies - there is quite a lot of information here so please take you time to read through it and complete the tasks as requested!
The course will run from Monday 6th October to Wednesday 8th October 2025 inclusive. All meals, refreshments and accommodation is included and has been arranged for you at Bailbrook House Hotel. If you wish to stay on the Sunday night you will need to contact Bailbrook House and book this yourself.
Please arrive at Bailbrook House Hotel by 9.30am on Monday 6th October - the traffic can be quite bad around Bath so please give yourself enough time! When you arrive please go to reception and they will direct you to the room we will be in.

Monday - Focus on Self - 10am start (9.30am onwards for tea/coffee). Finish at 5pm
Tuesday - Focus on Rider - 8.30am start (prompt), finish around 5pm
Wednesday - Focus on Performance - 8.30/9am start, finish around 3.30/4pm so that you can try and beat the traffic!

2. Spotlight profile:
As part of the upcoming APEC Advanced programme we are offering you the opportunity to complete a 'Spotlight' report. Spotlight has been designed to help you to develop a greater understanding of your performance preferences under pressure. Completing this short questionnaire will provide you with insights into how you can consistently get the best out of yourself when it really matters.
We will be debriefing your profile as part of the three day workshop so you can take us up on this offer of a FREE spotlight profile (RRP £120 + VAT), by clicking here to fill in your details and get started (if you do not have a company name please put n/a in order to proceed).
You’ll find instructions on the website, but a few key things to remember include...
- Spotlight is not a measure of skill or competence, there are no right or wrong answers to any of the questions - so try to be as honest as possible.
- Completing the profile will take you approximately 15 minutes. It is recommended that when answering the questions you first find a space and time where you can complete it in one sitting.
- Try not to overthink any of the questions – if you’re uncertain, go with your gut instinct, first impressions are generally best.

3. Follow the instructions on the page. For each question there are four statements. Read each statement carefully and then drag and drop the statements that ‘Most’ and ‘Least’ describe you into the relevant boxes. Next, rank the remaining two statements somewhere in between, again using drag and drop.
4. The questionnaire contains 20 questions. After you have finished the questionnaire, your profile will be generated and will be available to download by myself.
5. We will print off and provide you with your profile on the first day of the workshop, and I will run a de-brief session during our time together.
Please complete your profile by Monday 1st September so we have time to collate your report to give to you in October.
After the workshop, you will complete six months of online content (webinars, podcasts, interviews, challenges etc etc) which will be delivered on a weekly basis every Tuesday morning to our online portal. We'll also be making use of a Facebook group, for discussions, support and questions. You will receive an invite to join this group closer to the time.
